The Central Illinois Chapter was established in  1975. On November 3, 1975, The Normal-Champaign Chapter charted. In April 1996, the name was changed to Central Illinois Chapter to reflect our service area: Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Decatur, Peoria, and Springfield. The cornerstone of our service is our five programming facets — Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Programs and initiatives address the needs of underserved communities.
